Yesterday the Buffalo Bisons (27-17) won their game, while the Binghamton Mets (20-22) and St. Luice Mets (20-23) lost their games. Here a recap of the significant performances for last night's games.
Buffalo: Defeated Lehigh Valley 6-5
- Bobby Parnell pitched two innings, gave up one run on two hits, one walks and struck out five.
- Jesus Feliciano and Josh Thole both went 3-5 with an RBI. Feliciano is batting .383 for the season and Thole is nine for his last 15.
- Mike Hessman, Andy Green and Ruben Tejada each had two hits and drove in an RBI, with Green driving in two.
Binghamton: Lost to New Britain 5-2
- Luis Hernandez went 2-4 with a triple.
- Kirk Nieuwenhuis went 1-4 and drove in his 24th RBI of the season.
- Nick Evans went 0-4.
St. Luice: Lost to Lakeland 10-4
- Joey August went 2-4, improving his average to .385.
- Stefen Welch went 2-4 with a solo home run, his third of the year.
- Daniel Murphy went 5-5 with three RBI and a double. He's 8-11 in his three games for St. Luice and is expected to be promoted to Buffalo.
