Carrasco from Buffalo (AAA) of the International League and option righthanded pitcher Dale Thayer to Buffalo…Carrasco will wear #77…Carrasco went 2-3 with a 3.47 ERA (18 earned runs/46.2 innings) in nine games, eight starts with the Bisons…He allowed 46 hits, issued 17 walks and notched 37 strikeouts…Carrasco fired 7.0 shutout innings with eight strikeouts in his last outing on June 8 vs. Indianapolis…Carrasco was 0-1 with a 5.91 ERA (seven earned runs/10.2 innings) in eight games with the Mets before he was optioned to Buffalo on April 24.
