good...hopefully they make your trip enjoyable

@  abat : (18 Feb 2017 - 05:18)

Opening Day flights and hotel booked!

@  Drucifer : (17 Feb 2017 - 13:09)

I'm finished duping my files. Now to read up on a Win10 boot USB flash drive. Apparently there are several ways of doing it. Anyone know how much space it will take up?

@  Canada Mets Fan : (17 Feb 2017 - 07:51)

Sorry, missed a few days as we had a 2 day snowstorm in my area. Fang, yes, 108 is the tiny triangle. I sat in the first row, the row only has 2 seats. I thought the views were good but I've only been to Citi for two games and the first game I was up in the 300 section.

@  Drucifer : (16 Feb 2017 - 23:31)

That got me back in. The restore probably sent me back to my original PW which I have long forgotten. I'm setting up a flash boot USB and duping my files onto another USB drive

@  Saxon : (16 Feb 2017 - 22:30)

you should be able to get into your microsoft account to reset the password

@  Drucifer : (16 Feb 2017 - 20:55)

How I got it is a mystery as I don't open emails from strangers and I don't click on any links in any emails.

@  Drucifer : (16 Feb 2017 - 20:52)

I'm thinking now it must be ransumware for it to change the PW.

@  METS FANG : (16 Feb 2017 - 16:52)

isn't 108 the tiny triangle above (as in row number, not tier) 107?

@  Drucifer : (16 Feb 2017 - 16:30)

How do you save a website image using a tablet?

@  Drucifer : (16 Feb 2017 - 16:18)

It's driving me nuts using a tablet to get around.

@  thomasam : (16 Feb 2017 - 14:36)

and sorry to hear about the malware Dru, always a nightmare

@  thomasam : (16 Feb 2017 - 14:35)

Wait though FANG, 108 is field level

@  Saxon : (16 Feb 2017 - 13:44)

I could have re-installed Windows afterwards, but didn't know what I did with the Flash Drive that had windows 10 on it, and the netbook didn't have a DVD drive...it runs a lot faster with Linux Mint anyhow...

@  Saxon : (16 Feb 2017 - 13:27)

the last time that I did a clean reset on Windows 10, it wiped out my hard drive and didn't reinstall...that computer now runs Linux Mint

@  Drucifer : (16 Feb 2017 - 12:02)

My computer got infected with malware that hog the internet. Did a RESET that hungup. Did a RESTORED and somehow the login PW no longer works. So right now I'm screwed.

@  METS FANG : (15 Feb 2017 - 18:51)

yea, not a fan of 108. if I'm that far in the OF, I need to be closer to the field. And I don't like the overhang - ruins the "outdoor" feeling

@  thomasam : (15 Feb 2017 - 17:08)

The key is to sit as far down as you can for every reason of course, but the stream of people heading to and from seats isn't as bad either

@  thomasam : (15 Feb 2017 - 17:08)

Kind of funny, Mr. Met does spend a lot of time in the section

@  Canada Mets Fan : (15 Feb 2017 - 11:05)

I sat in 108 once, good views aside from the constant stream of people going up and down the stairs. And Mr. & Mrs. Met came to the section around the 5th.

@  thomasam : (13 Feb 2017 - 16:24)

Good sight lines, near the food section and easy to get in and out post-game (though I tend to stick around). We get our tickets packages usually in section 107, but 109 is ideal

@  thomasam : (13 Feb 2017 - 16:22)

There are not many bad seats in the house, but I've sat more or less everywhere and prefer the field-level seats down the RF line

@  METS FANG : (13 Feb 2017 - 11:29)

happy to throw 2 cents in as well, though most of my input is in the thread Sax suggested

@  abat : (12 Feb 2017 - 13:57)

Aussie I'm a fairly frequent visitor despite geography, what do you want to know?

@  Saxon : (12 Feb 2017 - 11:45)

Here is a thread that we discussed it in the past, hopefully there is some relavent info in there for you: http://www.metsparad...visiting/page-1

@  Saxon : (12 Feb 2017 - 11:44)

they do have "ADA" seating but you have to ask about it when contacting the Mets ticket agents...and they do have wider seats, but they are usually in more expensive areas of the park.

@  Saxon : (12 Feb 2017 - 11:41)

Aussie...I've only been to Citi Field once, so I know relatively nothing about tickets/seating (my daughter bought the tix as a Birthday present)...one recommendation though: seats tend to be not very wide, and the pitch of the stairs is substantial...I was fine with it, but my wife with bad knees had a hard time with our seating...so if you have anyone that has issues with steps or seats not being wide enough, look into that when you purchase the tix

@  aussie mets fan : (12 Feb 2017 - 01:03)

id like to chat about buying tickets and seating. etc

@  West Coast M... : (11 Feb 2017 - 18:46)

I agree Brian

@  brian stark : (11 Feb 2017 - 17:55)

NO to the DH. NO NO NO, 1000 times no.

@  Saxon : (11 Feb 2017 - 17:41)

@ West Coast M... : (11 Feb 2017 - 16:46)
It will never happen, but shortening the commercial breaks would help.

One thing they could to for that, would be install the DH, and have the pitchers warm up in the bullpen so that they don't need the token 8 pitches every half inning...maybe go to commercial break every 3 half innings

@  West Coast M... : (11 Feb 2017 - 16:46)

It will never happen, but shortening the commercial breaks would help.

@  Saxon : (11 Feb 2017 - 13:14)

the teams that scored the most had the most XBH's and the most hits in general while striking out the least...the only way to justify taking more pitches, is if your strikeouts because of which are not impacting your OPS

@  Saxon : (11 Feb 2017 - 13:07)

P/PA does not translate into better offense, 2015 Royals were tied for the lowest P/PA while being a dangerous offense; the 2015 were 4th highest in P/PA while being a below average offense (which would have been a much below average offense without Cespedes) http://www.baseball-...s-batting.shtml

@  Saxon : (11 Feb 2017 - 12:57)

maybe they should make the strikezone as big as the strikezone that we had in little league, :fbomb: walks and people trying to see how many pitches that they can make the pitcher pitch drives me nuts...

@  brian stark : (11 Feb 2017 - 09:11)

I can't stand these proposed changes. You want to speed up the game? Pitch clock. No more walking around for an hour and a half composing yourself. Get the ball, get the sign, throw the pitch, repeat.

@  Saxon : (10 Feb 2017 - 22:18)

by the way...spelling guarantee/gaurantee or how ever the :fbomb: you spell it, confuses the shit out of me

@  Saxon : (10 Feb 2017 - 22:15)

ya know...if they change the extra innings rule, to start off with a runner on 2nd with nobody out, that pretty much guarantees that the Mets will be "0 for extra innings"

@  Saxon : (10 Feb 2017 - 20:44)

and some of the pitchers that they protected are less impressive...

@  brian stark : (10 Feb 2017 - 20:29)

He's depth. You can't have enough depth. Giving him up for cash seems like a waste of resources.

@  METS FANG : (10 Feb 2017 - 15:18)

is he better? middling player with low swing and miss rate. His ability to keep the ball over the plate in the minors IMO led to him being hit hard against the talent of the majors.

@  yogib8 : (10 Feb 2017 - 13:31)

Bumped into Kevin Burkhardt last night...while channel checking. Hosting a show for the competitors from "Alone"...a survivor theme show.

@  brian stark : (10 Feb 2017 - 13:23)

Just saw that. Don't like this move at all whatsoever. Ynoa is not a stud, but he is better than Gilmartin, and starting pitching depth is a crucial thing to have with 80% of your rotation in some sort of injury protocol.

@  Drucifer : (10 Feb 2017 - 12:09)

Adam Rubin ‏@AdamRubinESPN [Adam Rubin Retweeted Michael Natale]
Gabriel Ynoa was traded to the Orioles for cash to free a 40-man roster spot for Fernando Salas signing. Obviously more cash than waiver-claim money

@  Drucifer : (08 Feb 2017 - 23:50)

In game tweets & post game reports are all I want from ESPN.

@  Saxon : (08 Feb 2017 - 22:21)

it's back

@  Saxon : (07 Feb 2017 - 23:22)

Mark Simon is good, but I think that he enjoys being more of a statistician than a reporter...

@  METS FANG : (07 Feb 2017 - 16:51)

"famous" name in PR might make more than the average joe

@  thomasam : (07 Feb 2017 - 15:40)

PR does pay more, but not THAT much more though it depends on where you're working
