The 1/2 is what screws me up, because I think this is an 88-89 win team, so I'm at both over AND under...

Yesterdays game was the first I watched this spring, DW got his first knock and looked health and happy. Mugged for the cameras with Kevin Long. Now this.
As recently as 2013 the Captain was still on a HOF path.
Wright still has 4 seasons left on his contract and a shoulder impingement is not a career kiss of death, rest and cortisone are conservative treatments and surgery as an option of last resort. DW is not a quitter and I want to see him back on the field.
Not as the face of the franchise or the next Met HOF player, but playing out a good career and contributing until the last out.
and while it's not a popular opinion when voiced to NL fans; this is one place that the lack of a DH screws DW over...he's "healthy" but can't throw...in the NL, that is career threatening; in the AL, guys like David Ortiz made a career out of it

typical WBC year...Wright, Duda, and now Grandy hurt...damn WBC
Not everyone gets injured, Ollie Perez spent his time washing down enchilades, quesadillas and fajitas with cerveza and tequila followed by daily siestas and returned just fine, if looking like Colon and pitching like Colon's abuela is a good thing.
